Who we are
COROCONEGLIANO
The choir was founded in 2005 under the guidance of maestro Diego Tomasi and now has about twenty
elements, both with choral experience and beginners; the common passion for singing
popular inspiration and intense preparatory work have given many
gratifications to the group that has performed in various Italian cities as well as in Germany,
Switzerland, Austria, Finland and Canada; Stages of a dissemination and improvement activity
which the group pursues with great commitment and satisfaction. The Director is Diego Tomasi,former collaborator of Efrem Casagrande in the Ana Choir of Vittorio Veneto, and then master of the
Choir of the Julia Brigade and the Corocastel of Conegliano. The repertoire is that of the
Italian and foreign folk tradition; from the songs of the Alpini to the author’s songs, from the filò
peasants to religious and Christmas songs. The choir has a conspicuous record production: the
first CD “Fiabe” is from 2006, in 2008 the DVD “It was a night that rained.” songs of the
Alpini in the Great War with footage on the fronts of the battles, in 2009 a CD of “Hymns
institutional songs” and one of “Christmas Carols”, in 2010 the CD “Canti degli Alpini” and in 2013 the CD
“Travel Diary” that ranges in the popular song of the different continents.
