DIEGO TOMASI
Was born in Vittorio Veneto, where he still resides today, on April 23, 1961, graduated in sports science, he taught in the various school orders until the year 2023. Now retired. He has collaborated with various sports clubs in the area as an athletic trainer.
He entered the choral world at the beginning of the 80s, in the ANA choir of Vittorio Veneto, directed by maestro E. Casagrande, as second tenor and vocal trainer of the tenor sections, given his past as a student of violin and complementary piano, and then until 1988 always collaborating in the ANA choir, with the masters B. Sanson and S. Da Ros.
During his military service in the period ’86/’87 in the Alpine Corps, he became the choir master of the Julia Alpine Brigade, leading the choir to win the Competition of Alpine choirs in arms in Biella in 1987.
From 1989 until 2004, he directed the Corocastel of Conegliano, winning the International Choral Competition of the city of Stresa in ’91, and various second places such as the choral competition “C.A. Seghizzi” of Gorizia in ’93, of Vittorio Veneto in ’95, of Brentonico (Tn) and Appiano Gentile (Co) in the following years.
From 2005, until the present day, maestro and director of the Conegliano choir.
