Who we are
COROCONEGLIANO (Conegliano choir) was formed at the beginning of 2005, around the personality of the Choirmaster Diego Tomasi and sixteen long-serving members of other local choral groups in the Conegliano area.
The passion for singing and the desire to improve both in technique and vocal expressivity has fuelled the pleasure of spending time together, as well as the determination to find a place in the choir scene, which gradually attracted more and more young people, increasing the group size up to the current 30 members.
COROCONEGLIANO’s repertoire comprises songs from the Italian folk tradition, including typical Alpine troops’ wartime songs, local popular chants called ‘filò’, religious hymns and Christmas carols.
Since 2005 COROCONEGLIANO has toured in Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Finland and Canada.
